It is made by adding brown molasses and caramel to the fine crystal sugar. The fine crystal sugar for this brown sugar comes from the own Dutch sugar beet. The combination of fine crystal sugar with brown molasses and caramel makes that this brown sugar tastes delicious on bread, rusk, biscuit and pancakes. It is an ideal product for various types of pastry and cakes, such as brownies and filled speculoos. It gives them a beautiful dark brown color and a nice flavor.
